This Privacy Policy explains what personal information Yebo collects, why, who it is shared with, and the choices you have. It covers three groups of people: visitors to yebo-hire.com and yebo-ai.com, applicants who apply for a job with an employer that uses Yebo Hire, and employer users (managers and staff of a Yebo customer) who use Yebo Hire or Yebo HR.
1. Two roles Yebo plays
As a service provider to employers. When you apply for a job with an employer through Yebo Hire, that employer (the "Employer") decides what information is collected and how it is used to consider you for the job. Yebo processes that information on the Employer's instructions as its service provider (a "processor"). The Employer's own privacy notice also applies to you.
On our own behalf. For the website and for the accounts of employer users, Yebo decides how your information is used. For those, Yebo is the "business" or "controller".
2. What we collect
| Who | What | How we get it |
|---|---|---|
| Visitors | Pages viewed, approximate location from your IP address, browser type; anything you type into the demo-request form (name, company, email, number of stores). | Your browser; the form you submit. |
| Applicants | Name, email, phone, the position and store you applied to, how you reached the form (poster scan, job board, web link), your answers to the Employer's questions, a résumé if you add one, your interview booking and attendance, and any feedback you give about the interview. If the Employer later records you as hired, their payroll export may confirm your hire date. | You, when you apply or book; the Employer; for some employers, a brand's guest-survey provider when you asked that brand to contact you about a job. |
| Employer users | Name, work email, role, the stores you cover, when you sign in and what you do in the application (for the Employer's own audit trail), and the emails Yebo sends you. | Your Employer's administrator; your use of the application. |
We do not collect Social Security numbers, bank details, government ID numbers, or health information, and we ask you not to put them in free-text fields.
3. Why we use it
- To let you apply, book an interview, and receive reminders and the Employer's decisions.
- To run the Employer's hiring and workforce reporting (interview outcomes, time to hire, roster and turnover figures, reports and alerts to the Employer's managers).
- To confirm hires against the Employer's payroll records, so the Employer's figures are accurate.
- To keep the service secure, detect abuse, and meet our legal obligations.
4. Who we share it with
- The Employer you applied to, and the managers at that Employer whose stores you applied to.
- Service providers that run our infrastructure and deliver email on our behalf (Amazon Web Services, including its email service), bound by contract to use the information only to provide those services.
- Authorities, if the law requires it; a successor, if Yebo is sold or merged, under this Policy.
We do not sell your personal information for money, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.
5. How long we keep it
Applications are kept while the Employer uses them for hiring and for 24 months after your last activity, then deleted or anonymized, unless the Employer is required to keep them longer or you become an employee. Employer-user accounts are kept while the account is active. Server logs are kept for a short period for security.
6. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to receive a copy, and to opt out of sharing. To exercise these rights, use the contact form at hire.yebo-ai.com/privacy-request; where the Employer is the business that decides how your application is used, we will pass your request to them and help them answer it. We will not treat you differently for exercising a right. You can also stop any email from us using the link in it.
7. Children
Yebo Hire is used by restaurants that hire from age 16. The service is not directed to anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child under 16 has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
8. Security
Information is stored in the United States on Amazon Web Services, encrypted in transit and at rest, and each employer's data is kept separate from every other employer's. No system is perfectly secure; we will notify you and the Employer of a breach as the law requires.
9. Changes and contact
We will post any new version here with a new effective date, and tell employers. Contact: the contact form at hire.yebo-ai.com/privacy-request · Yebo-AI LLC.
